    How to play
    1. It needs your own clean, unmodified disc image of Mario Kart Wii, the PAL version (RMCP01), dumped from your own disc: other regions and patched copies are refused.
    2. The easy way is Wheel Wizard: pick your own image under Settings, turn on WiiCompiled (beta) and click install on the Home page; it then installs, updates and launches the game.
    3. On macOS, download WiiCompiled-Setup.pkg from its releases and open it, then open WiiCompiled Setup in Applications and choose your own disc image.
    4. Setup translates and compiles the game on your machine, a one-time wait; on Windows, keep about 20 GB free during the install (the game then takes about 5 GB).
    5. On macOS, it may first ask to install the Xcode Command Line Tools: finish Apple's installer, then open Setup again.
    6. Press F10 in the game's window for its settings: resolution, controllers and button mapping, vibration, volume.
    7. Take its builds only from its releases page, never from an installer shared elsewhere.
