    Release 16.0-beta4, Sep 20, 2026 (a pre-release)

    How to play
    1. Download the stable version from its website: the nightly has the newest changes, but may break more often.
    2. It is free on Steam, GOG and the Microsoft Store too, and some systems' package managers carry it.
    3. It needs graphics and sounds to run: some installs fetch them for you, and the Windows installer can add the free OpenGFX, OpenSFX and OpenMSX sets.
    4. To play with the original Transport Tycoon Deluxe graphics and sounds instead, copy sample.cat and its five TRG .grf files from your own CD, DOS or Windows, into its baseset folder.
    5. For the original music, copy the files of the gm folder (Windows) or GM.CAT (DOS) from your own copy into the same folder.
    6. Add more from its main menu, with Check Online Content.
