    Release v0.9.3-playtest, Aug 2, 2026 (a pre-release)

    How to play
    1. It needs your own disc image of Animal Crossing, the USA release (GAFE01, Rev 0), as ISO, GCM or CISO.
    2. Download the zip of its latest release and extract it.
    3. Put your own disc image in its rom folder and run AnimalCrossing.exe: it reads everything from the image at startup, with nothing to extract first.
    4. On the keyboard, WASD moves, the arrow keys turn the camera, Space is A, Left Shift is B and Enter is Start; keybindings.ini rebinds them.
    5. SDL2 gamepads work, detected when plugged in.
    6. Saves go in its save folder as GCI files: put a Dolphin GCI export there to bring an existing save.
    7. Resolution (up to 4K), fullscreen, VSync and MSAA are in its options menu or in settings.ini.
